Fall 2010:

Dom freshened this year with twin doelings and went right to work making lots of milk for our cheese making.  She loves her job in the milking parlor.  She has easy milking teats and very soft udder.

Not only is Dom an outstanding milker even though she is still a yearling, but now she has earned her Superior Genetics title.  What a wonderful, hardworking young lady she is!  Dom has already earned her milking star in all three categories. 

Summer 2009:

Dominiska was born late in the year, long after all the other kids.  Since she was an only child we let her bond and nurse from her mom.  (We usually bottle raise our kids).  Dom, however, had other plans.  She adopted another doe to be her second mom! Yes, Dom had two moms and they both let her nurse from them .  Unfortunately this lead to a weight problem for Dom and she is now in the "Jenny Craig Pen" to shed a few pounds before being bred - hopefully in January.
