Summer 2010: Little Jammer is a BIG surprise. She didn't seem very special as a kid, just sort of ordinary. She was quiet and kind of invisible. Then she kidded. She had TRIPLETS as a yearling mom. Then her milk came in. Over a gallon a day from a lovely, well shaped udder. She is truly delightful and we are enjoying her immensely. Congratulations to Jammer for earning her Superior Genetics title while still a yearling! Summer 2009: Jammer is a real sweet kid that just loves playing with her buddies. She "knocks" on our exterior bedroom door each morning to see if we'll come out and play. No problem - but could we wait until the sun comes up? |
