Summer 2010:

Mal is still a hard worker, still likes hanging out with her mom, and still is making lots of milk for David to make into cheese. She also finds time to go out browsing, nap under a tree, and come up to get her head scratched. She's a busy girl.

Summer 2009:

Not only is Mallow still making lots of milk, she has earned her Superior Genetics title! She looked so wonderful at this year's appraisal that she earned a great score there, too. Mallow still likes to hang out with her mom and their milk stands are right next to each other.

July 2008 update:

Mallow might have been a bit slow last year getting geared up to be a milker, but she certainly started this year off with a flood - a flood of milk. Mallow surprised us with her very nicely attached udder and awesome contribution to the milk pail. She is a wonderful contributor in the milking parlor.

July 2007 update:

Mallow still loves to hang out with her mom. We gave her a green collar to match her mom and they are pretty cute together. Mallow wants to come into the milking parlor at the same time as her mom does, plus any other time the door is open! She just loves her time in the parlor. She did have a bit of a slow start getting her milk making apparatus in order, but is now milking well and developing nicely.

June 2006 update:

Mallow is one of triplet doelings born to our lovely girl, Juniper. She was born 4 days early and weighed just 6 pounds but has always been a handful. She continues to be a healthy and very active girl. She loves to play “Tank Wars” on top of our long liquid propane tank with her buddy Starburst. They can really put on a show! She also likes hanging out with her mom and browsing around the ranch with the rest of the gang.
