Summer 2014:
What do 8 people, one Chevy Suburban, and a full grown buck coming into rut have in common? Well, we decided that since we have Splash’s semen collected that we would continue using him via Arificial Insemination and allow Splash to go to work somewhere else.
While they were on vacation in CA, a large family of Texans saw the For Sale ad and just had to swing over to BMR and pick him up on their way home. Splash rode in style right in with the family and looked like a good sport about the whole thing. We wish him luck at his new home.
Summer 2013:
Due to Splash's contributions we think we will have to downsize! Yes, Splash's daughters are so productive that we have way too much milk. Having fewer does will still keep us running at full capacity due to their incredible production. But...maybe I'll still keep everyone and find other uses for all this milk!
Summer 2012:
Splash's daughters are really cranking out the milk, and looking quite lovely as they do that. We are very sorry that the Six M Galaxy herd has now been dispersed, the 6MG herd is famous for producing beautiful, milky animals. We are very glad to have Splash here with us.

Splash's daughters haven't let us down. They are productive, beautiful, and sweet. Splash is proving himself to be a valuable member of our team.

Summer 2010:
Splash is a big sweetheart. He comes up to have his head scratched each morning and insists on giving me a kiss on my cheek. We kept quite a few of Splashes' daughters this year and are anxious to see how well they freshen next spring.

Splash has settled right in with the other bigger boys and seems right at home. He is growing up well and getting more handsome every day. His kids are looking long, stylish, and splashy, and we look forward to having some of them freshen next year.

We'd like to welcome Splash to the BMR herd. Splash comes from the high production herd of Six M Galaxy. Splash is incredibly dairy and correct, he is also a real sweetheart and loves attention.
When we decided to purchase Splash we thought we were getting a black and tan buckling, but - SURPRISE - Splash has the Six M Galaxy "magic spots" (AKA Moon Spots). Spots that show up after birth and continue to spread. This guy could look quite different as he grows up! Regardless of the spots, we are confident that he will grow into a beautiful fella and give us lots of productive offspring.
